2008 Lincoln Navigator – Complete SUV Detailing

This weekend we detailed a 2008 Lincoln Navigator in Massapequa Park, NY. This vehicle was in good condition on the outside; however the interior needed some help. We started by washing the vehicle down thoroughly to remove the dirt and prepare to clay bar. While washing the car we spent extra time on the chrome rims as brake dust had covered them entirely.

When the car was dry we took a clay bar to the white paint to remove any surface contaminants that had not been removed during washing. It took some time to clay bar as this vehicle is extra large, but we were able to remove all the dirt nestled between the cracks.

We washed the car once again to remove the clay residue and any dirt lingering on the surface of the clear coat. After drying we applied a high quality carnauba based wax to protect the Navigator’s precious clear coat and leave a deep and glossy shine. The wax removed well as we finished up the exterior. The vehicle was really shaping up!

The interior took more time than the exterior for us as there was a tremendous amount of surface area to be covered. One all surfaces had been treated and we finished vacuuming the results were very clear to be seen. We wrapped up the interior by polishing the glass and mirrors and doing some mild odor removal to neutralize the scent.

Overall, this vehicle came out great. It looks really sharp in the sunlight and the owner was pleased with the results. Keeping a vehicle of that size clean can be difficult, especially with a family and back seat passengers. Another job well-done by Five Star Detailing!
